Do you offer consultations to new clients?
All new clients receive a free consultation at the beginning of their service/appointment.
Do you work with all hair textures?
Yes, I work with all hair textures; from fine to medium to coarse hair.
Do you educate clients on how to maintain styles after a salon visit?
Absolutely! I want all of my clients to feel confident enough to be able to maintain and assist in the health of their hair. During visits I offer product recommendations and tips on how to maintain and revitalize a style.
What hair type do I have?
Instead of focusing on a specific hair type (keep in mind that it's possible to have multiple), I recommend products based on and educate you on your individual hair texture and density.
What products do you use?
Products and brands will vary by client and style, but rest assured that all of my products are professional grade and will contribute to the health of your hair.
Do you service children ?
I love styling my youngest clients! All children must be 5 years of age or older and salon ready, meaning they should be able to sit through the service from beginning to end with no assistance from the parent or guardian.
How often should I receive a trim?
I recommend that my clients receive regular trims on a quarterly (every three months) basis. Maintaining this schedule will help ensure your ends protected and healthy.
How much is cut when receiving a trim?
A trim includes the removal of up to 1 inch of hair, as needed. Trims can be done on wet, dry or straightened hair. A trim will not change the shape of an existing cut. If you want to add layers or you're looking to get a different shape, book a hair cut instead of a trim.
Can I just book an add-on service?
Unfortunately, you can not book for just an add-on service as these are meant to be paired with a full service option. If an add-on service is booked without a full service, it will be canceled and I will contact the client to properly reschedule.
Do you charge a detangling fee?
Yes, there is a $25 detangling fee. When scheduled to receive a service, your hair should be prepared and ready to go under the water for your shampoo. To avoid this fee, please be sure your hair is properly detangled from base to ends.
